ABOUT

Evan graduated from Texas Tech University with a master’s degree in vocal performance and has studied with Kristine Ciesinski, Gerald Dolter, and Darrell Babidge.  He has performed with Moonlight Broadway, the Lubbock Symphony, and at the state opera house in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.  Recent engagements include Monsieur Andre (The Phantom of the Opera), Olin Blitch (Susannah), Schaunard (La Boheme), Giovanni (Don Giovanni), Grandpa Moss (The Tender Land), Adam Pontipee (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers), the father (Hänsel und Gretel) and Ben (The Telephone)

He was recently reviewed by William Kearns from the Lubbock Avalanche Journal, saying:

 

"Dunn is equally well cast as 1850s mountain man Adam Pontipee.  Dunn possesses a resounding, trained voice that promises more operatic roles." (Lubbock Avalanche Journal).

Future engagements include an appearance as Tiger Brown (The Threepenny Opera) at Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre.
